As twilight falls, magic unfolds in the Christmas Garden
The architecture of the Wilhelma acts as a picturesque backdrop for the festive light art. Covering a 2-kilometre circular track, the Christmas Garden in Stuttgart features over 1,5 million lights and is designed to surprise guests year after year.
With something for everyone, from adults and children to couples, friends and families, the light installations and sculptures offer a real Christmassy outing. But don’t forget, the Christmas Garden Stuttgart is an open-air event, so do come dressed for all weather.

Highlights at Stuttgart’s Christmas Garden
A magical winter dream comes to life in Baden-Württemberg with lights sparkling, and a matching musical accompaniment, complete with individual compositions which have been specially created for the Christmas Garden.
Let yourself be enchanted by the “cathedral of lights” as you stroll through a glittering tunnel with countless light chains. Or enter last year's favourite - the “Field of Lights” - where thousands of light points will be activated on a large meadow to the perfectly sequenced song, creating a moving and shining photo motif.
Especially for the kids
On four days this year, you can buy a special Family Day ticket. This gives entry for either two adults and up to three children, or one adult and up to four children for just 39,90 euros. Children under six always go free!
Not only do you get that great discount, but there's also a special Christmas craft activity with TV and radio DIY workshop expert Kati Jordan. Here, children can give free rein to their creativity and design their own Christmas decorations under Kati's guidance.
Family Days in 2024 are on November 18 and 25, and December 2 and 9.
