[Video] Why Coca-Cola Invented Fanta in Nazi Germany
A little-known fact about Fanta is that it was actually invented in Nazi Germany. Find out why in the video below!
The origins of Fanta
Avid IamExpat readers might already know that Fanta originated in Germany, as one of our “Most Googled” articles tackled the question of whether Hitler was a fan of the orange carbonated beverage. While, in lieu of a photograph or any solid evidence, we cannot say for sure whether Hitler ever enjoyed a cold glass of Fanta, we do know it was developed by Coca-Cola Deutschland in 1940 as a substitute for Coke.
